When it comes to Digital Media, Scotland has great talent and big ambitions. A group of us got together to focus on the things we can do to make a bigger impact.
We have told the Scottish government what the industry needs to happen to ensure more success we - start more companies, build bigger companies and ensure that more distribution networks are owned and based in Scotland. We also need them to raise their game, support digital media and find ways of working alone or with the UK government to provide tax benefits to Games companies in Scotland
Some of the highlights of our work are on this site. But the best thing you could do is download the strategy document, read it and act on it. In the spirit of digital democracy, you can even blog about it too.
You will find highlights via the navigation bars above, proposing a step-change in digital media growth, identifying areas for investment and the actions we have to take.
We don’t need your credit cards details, there’s no dress code and no age-limit on entrance. We just want to make Scotland a better place to produce digital media.
Thanks for dropping by.
One of the abiding truths of all societies is that if you don’t innovate you evaporate. Scotland has a phenomenal track record in scientific, medical and industrial innovation but the towering achievements of the past will not protect Scotland from change in the digital economy. We know only too well that entire industries can disappear in less than a lifetime.Download the strategy now
